This naturally processed Ethiopian embodies everything that we love about coffees of this process and region. It is dynamic and fruit forward, but with a cleaniness and nuance that some do not have. This is the second time we have purchased coffee from this farm and both crops have been exceptional. One of the highlights of offering this coffee is knowing that it came from a family owned farm, and because of this traceability the farm is thriving and producing top quality crop year after year. We hope you enjoy the raspberry forwardness of the cup. There is also a pronounced floral aspect that comes out as it cools. Pair this with a tea like body and finish and this is one drinkable cup of coffee.
The Ethiopian Nigusse Lemma Limu comes from a family-owned farm in Meto Gundb, in the Limu region of southwestern Ethiopia. The farm owner, Lemma Edeto, began working with coffee nearly 60 years ago and has passed down his knowledge to his two sons Haile and Nigusse. The Lemma family also processes their coffee, giving them full control over the finished product right up to the final export stage.
