This offering from Colombia offers familiarity and adventure in one. It has a sturdiness that traditional Colombians are associated with, but at the same time offers layers of sweet complexity that makes it especially fun. The acidity is not overwhelming, and reminds us of stone fruit and sweet citrus. The finish is viscous and sweet much like caramel.
Jorge's farm is located high in the mountains of our favorite growing region of Nariño, Colombia. Besides the fantastic high elevation (2,100M!) Jorge picks and processes his coffee with care, fully washing and fermenting for 36 hours, then drying the coffee on raised beds for 12 days.
